On January 22, 1982, Jason Raynard Peters, an offensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League, was born. When he signed with the Buffalo Bills in 2004 as an undrafted free agent after playing college football at Arkansas, he was previously a tight end. He was later transferred to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009, where he played for the following 12 seasons before joining the Chicago Bears in 2021.
After starring in both football and basketball at Queen City High School, Peters played football for the Arkansas Razorbacks at the University of Arkansas (TX). Although he was initially signed as a defensive tackle, his first season saw him play reserve defensive lineman.
Later, he was switched to tight end, where as a sophomore, he caught four receptions for 37 yards. Peters was named to the second team of the SEC after posting 21 receptions for 218 yards and four touchdowns during his junior season.
