Louis C.K. is an American Grammy Award-winning comedian, actor, writer, producer, and director. He’s best known for the FX series Louie (2010-15), and for his stand-up comedy tours and television specials. His film credits include The Invention of Lying (2009), The Secret Life of Pets (2016) and I Love You, Daddy (2017). C.K. was born Louis Szekely on September 12, 1967, in Washington, D.C. His parents are Mary and Luis Szekely. He has three sisters. Shortly after his birth, the family relocated to Mexico City where they spent 6 years. They moved to Newton, Massachusetts when he was 7. C.K. graduated from Newton North High School in 1985. He worked as an auto mechanic prior to success as a comedian.
